At Andreasstraße 21a in Berlin-Friedrichshain, a building was created that broke away from the cramped side wings and front buildings of the past. Originally conceived as the rear end of the inner courtyard, the garden house was often a place of business in its day. Today, the new construction project of the same name takes up this historic building form and transforms it into a modern residential concept with 58 condominiums.

The “Gartenhaus” presents itself with an open, modern façade that enriches the cityscape. The absence of additional structures provides residents with a quiet retreat with a view of the generously designed inner courtyard and the adjoining gardens.

Bright rooms thanks to modern window solutions

The “garden house” concept focuses on light-flooded rooms. Large windows provide a friendly atmosphere and create a connection between the living space and the outside world. These windows give the building a modern aesthetic and contribute significantly to the open architecture. They are not only a design highlight, but also stand for energy efficiency and sustainability – an important aspect of modern living culture.
