Treptower Zwillinge: urban park on the doorstep in a traditional Berlin residential neighbourhood
The “Treptower Zwilinge” are two residential buildings with solid wooden exteriors that house 78 condominiums. The homes are not only made of wood on the outside, but also on the inside – just like the floor-to-ceiling window fronts with triple glazing from sebnitzer Fensterbau. The solid wooden facade in combination with a load-bearing concrete skeleton thus combines the oldest building material of mankind with the know-how of the 21st century.
