Construction is going on hard at Lindenauer Hafen in the west of Leipzig. So much so that a new urban district is growing up here. On a 40,000 square meter site with a special location directly on the shore of the harbor basin, 500 new apartments are being built with underground parking, a daycare center and smaller commercial units.
The new development is separated from the harbor basin only by the shore.
