The multi-purpose “Annenhöfe” building in downtown Dresden, not far from the historic Zwinger, has been completed. On August 31, 2022, the building was handed over to the developer TLG Immobilien AG. On the first floor, the new building offers catering and commercial space. On the five floors above, it contains high-quality office space that can be variably interconnected per floor. “We were able to complete the building on time and within the agreed budget, fully functional and free of defects – despite difficult general conditions due to the pandemic and the Ukra-ine war,” says Magnus May, project and senior construction manager at the WOLFF & MÜLLER branch in Dresden. Thanks to the intensive cooperation between the client and the joint venture even before the actual start of construction – in the so-called preconstruction phase – the jointly formulated goals in the construction contract could be implemented 1:1. The project team was thus able to enquire about all the necessary services and materials on the market at an early stage and bind them in advance, so that there were no significant supply bottlenecks during the 32-month construction period.
