sebnitzer fensterbau wins the German Brand Award 2024 in the “Building & Elements” category

On June 13, 2024, the German marketing world came together in Berlin when the German Design Council presented the prestigious “German Brand Award 2024”. This award honors outstanding brand management and recognizes unique brands and their creators. From over 1,300 submissions from 19 countries, 66 Gold Awards were presented, including the submission from sebnitzer fensterbau together with the advertising agency LOHMANN AND FRIENDS.

Award-winning: The new brand identity for our window construction company

How do you communicate the highest quality and craftsmanship of a product that you can simply see through? The answer lies in the new brand identity of “sebnitzer fensterbau GmbH”. Under the claim “sebnitzer fensterbau – quality down to the last detail”, we and our agency LOHMANN AND FRIENDS have created a brand that impresses with its love of detail, innovative strength and close ties to home at every point of interaction, because we have a clear vision: we don’t just want to build windows, we want to act as a consultant, interface, co-thinker, inspirer and source of inspiration. With innovative production that is far ahead of the industry, we also strive to be ahead in marketing. This mission is supported by a brand strategy that preserves existing values while creating a unique identity that will lead our company successfully into the future.

Our journey began back in 2018 with the creation of a wood brochure, for which we received the German Design Award, the VFF Marketing Award and the German Agency Award. This was followed by a relaunch of our corporate design, an emotional image video and the redevelopment of our website. For this brand work, we were awarded the German Brand Award in Gold on June 13, 2024 as the winner of our submission category “Building & Elements”.

A jury full of expertise

The jury of the German Brand Awards consists of independent experts from companies, science, consulting, services and agencies. They evaluate the submissions according to criteria such as originality, brand character, differentiation from the competition and target group relevance. Sustainability, degree of innovation, continuity and future viability also play an important role. These strict criteria make winning the award all the more impressive for our agency.

The initiator: German Design Council

The German Design Council is an independent institution that supports companies in the efficient communication of design and brand expertise. Since 1953, the Council has been promoting design, brand and innovation through awards, exhibitions, conferences and publications. Over 330 national and international companies belong to this network.
